Upcoming Wowza Streaming Cloud Maintenance
Wowza will perform scheduled maintenance on the Wowza Streaming Cloud service on Saturday, January 27, 2018, from 6 PM to 9 PM UTC.
Live streams and transcoders that are running when the maintenance window begins won't be affected. They will continue to broadcast and be available to viewers. During the maintenance window, however, the following limitations apply:
- You won't be able to sign in to Wowza Streaming Cloud or use the REST API.
- Scheduled events won't work. Live streams and transcoders that are scheduled to start or stop during the maintenance window will not start or stop.
Active publishing from Wowza Streaming Engine using the Wowza CDN and Wowza Streaming Cloud stream target profiles before the maintenance window begins will not be affected. During the maintenance window, however, publishing cannot be configured, started, or restarted. This includes publishing that was active before the maintenance window began, but was stopped or failed during the maintenance window.
